Eddie Strachan
Eddie Strachan is a highly sought-after choreographer and dance instructor with extensive training across multiple disciplines, including tap, lyrical, jazz, musical theatre, cheer, and gymnastics. Born and raised in Huntington Beach, CA, Eddie honed his skills early on before expanding his influence on a global scale. He has worked with prestigious dance companies such as Tessandra Chavez’s Unity LA, Rhythmic Circus, and Costa Rica Dance Fest, and has led master classes at the esteemed Urban Dance Center in Sydney, Australia.
Eddie’s television credits include appearances on "Ellen," "Dr. Phil," "Good Day L.A.," "The Jerry Lewis Telethon," and ESPN. His choreography portfolio boasts collaborations with major entities like Disney and Jean Ann Ryan Productions, where he has created full-length shows featured on Oceania’s five-star cruise ships touring the Mediterranean. Additionally, Eddie has choreographed for numerous high school and college dance teams, earning six UDA national titles, and his work in dance studios has garnered numerous accolades, including three Industry Dance Awards for Best Choreography.
With almost 20 years of experience in the dance convention industry, Eddie is the former Director of Radix Dance Convention and now serves as the Convention Director for Revive Dance Convention. He recently founded Emotion Choreography Inc., a company dedicated to offering advanced training and choreography clinics for dance teams, while continuing to deliver top-tier choreography to teams, studios, and the professional dance world.
